Top Radio Stations in Texas

Texas has a long and rich history of radio stations dating back to the 1920’s and the post-World War I radio boom. The list of radio stations in Texas is long, and there are several that stand out as being the top stations in the state.

KBRQ – FM
Waco, Texas is home to many Christian and country radio stations, and right in the middle of all of that conservative programming is KBRQ The Bear. KBRQ has been on the air since 1983 when it started out as KJNE and played some adult contemporary music. In 1994 the call letters were changed to KBRQ and the station quickly became known as Waco’s party radio station.

KBPA – FM
KBPA is referred to as Bob radio, which is actually a significant part of their programming philosophy. The Bob radio stations across the United States and Canada have made their reputation on playing almost any kind of music from any era and in any genre.
